Painting 101-201 (MAY 4 - 25)

$225.00

Class meets every Sunday from 1:30PM to 5PM.
This is a course suitable for both beginner (with little to no experience) and intermediate painters (with moderate amount of experiences).

In this course, participants will learn the role of decision-making in the painting process while improving their understanding of foundations. We will work with a variety of subjects and concepts observed from life and from the works of other artists. We will also focus on plasticity and color resonance which will equip students to critically approach their own work and successfully navigate the dilemma between one's outer and inner worlds in the process of painting. We will be working from a variety of sources including still life, landscape, and master paintings.

Please note that the following supplies offer options for oil, acrylic, or gouache. So, please read carefully and reach out if you have any questions.

Supplies needed (Please check in with us if you need alternative arrangements /ideas for supplies):

  • Brushes* (Have at least 2 or 3 brushes ranging in size and shape)
