Drawing 101 (MAR 23 - APR 20)

Meeting takes place every Sunday from 10am to 1 pm, excluding April 13th.

Perfect for beginners who are considering whether or not they want to move forward with their passion for art, or those who simply want to have better understanding and control of drawing mediums. Over the span of four meetings, participants will acquire essential skills involving material use, composition, and basic observational tools. The goal of this course is to equip participants with techniques that can be practiced and refined beyond the duration of this class and to help deepen their relationship with drawing. We will be working primarily from still life with additional options to create drawings from paintings.

Supplies needed:
- Bob’s Fine Vine Charcoal
- Rubber eraser
- Kneaded eraser
- Chamois cloth
- 18” x 24” drawing paper pad
- Spray Fixative

Easels and drawing boards will be provided at the studio.
